Description:
Avantia Law is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain backend services for internal-facing web applications.
The role involves building APIs that power AI-driven document processing and workflow automation for the firm’s legal tools, including KYC Compliance and Contracts.
The engineer will translate user feedback and requirements into functional production solutions.
Responsibilities include working with AWS services such as Lambda, OpenSearch, and S3 to manage and optimize infrastructure.
The engineer will monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure reliability and performance.
The position offers the flexibility to work remotely or in the London office, promoting a culture of trust and diversity.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with backend development, including APIs, databases, and web frameworks like Flask or FastAPI.
Proficiency in Python is required.
Familiarity with AWS services such as S3, Lambda, and OpenSearch is necessary, along with an eagerness to learn about DevOps practices like CI/CD and cloud security.
A problem-solving mindset and a willingness to take on new challenges are essential.
Start-up experience is advantageous but not essential; candidates should thrive in small teams and be willing to engage actively in their work.
