The Senior Software Engineer (Backend) will be responsible for ensuring the quality of deliveries through automated testing and observability via code instrumentation.
The role involves developing systems based on Unico's engineering principles, participating actively in product discussions and decisions, and ensuring code simplicity, efficiency, maintainability, and reusability.
The engineer will propose improvements, new technologies, and architectures for applications, refine complex problems into simple, scalable solutions, and deliver valuable code consistently.
Responsibilities also include documenting applications and architectural decisions, assisting less experienced developers, and participating in the entire development process, including discovery and delivery.

Requirements:

Candidates must have solid experience in a programming language.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture, clean architecture, and microservices is required.
Availability to work with different technologies is necessary.
Experience with Cloud technologies is essential.
Familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools, code instrumentation, and observability is required.
Candidates should have experience with development workflows using Git, code review, and testing, as well as CI/CD practices.
Proficiency in managing relational databases, particularly SQL Server, and non-relational databases is needed.
Defensive programming skills and knowledge of network protocols, especially HTTP, are required.
