Description:
Flowhub is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their engineering team, which focuses on creating user-friendly business management and compliance products for the cannabis industry.
The role involves designing, building, and delivering high-quality solutions that help customers run their businesses effectively.
Senior engineers will balance technical debt, speed of delivery, security, and scalability to ensure solutions are appropriately engineered.
Responsibilities include working with product management, stakeholders, and customers to develop a performant point-of-sale platform.
The engineer will make architectural decisions to maintain system stability and scalability, and will work with Postgres and Clickhouse databases in GCP to optimize performance.
The position also involves mentoring other engineers and supporting code changes, particularly those related to database schema or queries.
This role is open to candidates within the United States, excluding California.
Requirements:

Experience in system design and architecture decisions is required, from proof-of-concept to mature systems.
