• Flowhub is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to join their engineering team, which focuses on creating user-friendly business management and compliance products for the cannabis industry.
• The role involves designing, building, and delivering high-quality solutions that help customers run their businesses effectively.
• Senior engineers will balance technical debt, speed of delivery, security, and scalability to ensure solutions are appropriately engineered.
• Responsibilities include working with product management, stakeholders, and customers to develop a performant point-of-sale platform.
• The engineer will make architectural decisions to maintain system stability and scalability, and will work with Postgres and Clickhouse databases in GCP to optimize performance.
• The position also involves mentoring other engineers and supporting code changes, particularly those related to database schema or queries.
• This role is open to candidates within the United States, excluding California.
