Description:

Phantom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to design and build robust services for their Onboarding and Fiat OnRamp products.
The role involves shaping the technical direction of backend systems with a focus on high-volume, high-availability solutions for modern financial platforms.
Responsibilities include architecting systems for scalability and performance, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
The engineer will contribute to infrastructure decisions, implement security best practices, lead new initiatives for blockchain support, interface with users for feedback, and foster a strong team culture.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of full-time software engineering experience, particularly with Node.js/NestJS for building large-scale services.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and related tooling for container orchestration is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging solutions is necessary for maintaining production-grade systems.
A demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms is expected.
Experience in a blockchain-based product is a nice-to-have but not mandatory.
