Description:

Phantom is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to design and build robust services for their Onboarding and Fiat OnRamp products.
The role involves shaping the technical direction of backend systems with a focus on high-volume, high-availability solutions for modern financial platforms.
Responsibilities include architecting systems for scalability and performance, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable backend solutions.
The engineer will contribute to infrastructure decisions, implement robust authentication and security practices, lead initiatives to support additional blockchains, interface with end-users and developers, and foster a culture of excellence within the team.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Candidates must have 6+ years of full-time software engineering experience, particularly with backend technologies such as Node.js/NestJS, demonstrating a track record of building large-scale, high-performance services.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) and related tooling for container orchestration, scaling, and deployment is essential.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and logging solutions to maintain production-grade systems is required.
A demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms is necessary.
It is a plus to have 1+ years of experience in a blockchain-based product.
