The company is looking to add a Senior Backend Engineer to its engineering team.
Senior engineers at Flowhub design, build, and deliver high-quality solutions that meet customer needs while balancing technical debt, speed of delivery, security, and scalability.
They act as resources for the technical team through mentorship, design and code review, and product knowledge.

Requirements:

Candidates must be innately curious and love asking questions to understand how people, systems, and businesses work.
Experience in system design and architecture decisions from proof-of-concept to scaled, mature systems is required.
Candidates should be team players who can discuss complex technical subjects with various stakeholders.
A pragmatic and flexible approach to problem-solving without over-engineering is essential.
Competence across the stack is required, with fluency in backend services and the ability to diagnose, resolve, and optimize performance issues.
Familiarity with React.js, Golang, and GraphQL is preferred.
Deep experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database technology is necessary, including understanding how setup and schema impact performance.
A passion for making an impact in the cannabis industry and for customers and coworkers is essential.

The starting salary for this role ranges from $135,000 to $165,000 per year, plus equity.
Compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location, with the role open to candidates across the United States, excluding CA, NY, OR, and WA.
