Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to join their remote team in Austin, TX.
The mission of Vanta is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security.
The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers, delivering high-value products and scalable infrastructure.
Responsibilities include designing and building CI and build systems, modernizing testing tooling, solving scalability problems, leading complex projects, and supporting design reviews.
The role requires setting technical direction for critical infrastructure to support rapid growth.
Candidates should have at least 5 years of industry experience and a background in complex infrastructure challenges.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 5 years of industry experience.
Experience with complex infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, and performance is required.
Previous technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects are necessary.

Candidates should have experience working on greenfield projects.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is beneficial.
The ability to work collaboratively with talented engineers to impact customer security is essential.
