Remote Senior Software Engineer (Backend)

Description:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs using PHP (Laravel), Node.js, or Java (Spring Boot).
• Manage database systems like MySQL and PostgreSQL to optimize data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile app developers for seamless integration with third-party APIs.
• Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimize code for scalability and efficiency.
• Implement security best practices to protect data and systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, participate in code reviews.
• Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to an agile development environment, stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Software Engineering experience with PHP (Laravel) or Node.js.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and design patterns.
• Experience with database systems, API development, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Proficiency in version control systems (Git) and collaborative development tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Agile development experience is a plus.
