Remote Senior Software Engineer - Backend

• Restore is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to contribute significantly to developing and delivering the initial generation of Hyper Wellness® software.

• Responsibilities include focusing on implementation details like performance, uptime, security, and service architecture, writing tests for code quality, and working with modern languages and frameworks on serverless infrastructures.
• You will be involved in defining, designing, and developing new features, conducting code reviews, solving complex engineering problems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver enhancements and bug fixes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in designing and architecting consumer-facing APIs for mobile, web, and third-party integrations.
• 2+ years of experience working with services/microservices.
• 1+ years of experience working with serverless infrastructure (Lambda, Cloud Functions, etc).
• 3+ years of experience using Python or Typescript/Javascript for backend development.
• Familiarity with AWS Services such as Lambda, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software design.
• Proficiency in back end API development, design patterns, code structure, programming languages, continuous integration, and deployment architecture.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
