Remote Senior Software Engineer - Backend

Description:

• Yubico, the inventor of the YubiKey, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on the YubiEnterprise Services product.
• The YubiEnterprise Services product is a web-based Enterprise solution used for procuring, distributing, and managing YubiKey authentication solutions at scale.
• The role involves enhancing, maintaining, and growing the business logic of the product.
• Responsibilities include designing and developing APIs, creating prototypes based on user feedback, and working with various technologies such as cloud platform services and REST design.
• The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate with a multinational development team, provide design and code reviews, and work across functions with Product Managers, UX designers, and other teams.
• The position also involves participating in an on-call rotation to support business-critical Enterprise software.

Requirements:

• A BS or MS in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent non-traditional training and education.
• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on building commercial, customer-facing software.
• Proficiency in back-end software development supporting web applications, including designing, building, and testing REST APIs.
• Experience working with relational databases and designing/developing microservices on Unix-based platforms.
• Familiarity with web-backend languages like Go, Python, Java, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Experience leading projects, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team.
