Description:

Redox is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Backend to join their remote transaction processing team.
The role involves designing, writing, reviewing, and shipping code into production through CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities include supporting, maintaining, and eventually decommissioning systems created by the team.

Key job responsibilities include leading technical design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation of engineering and product initiatives.

The engineer will work with event streaming architectures and relational databases in the transaction processing pipeline.
The role involves solving complex, high-volume transaction processing challenges and caring about latency and delivery to customers.
Embracing a DevOps culture and taking ownership of the team’s systems is important.
Participation in on-call rotations and shared engineering responsibilities is required.
The engineer will code in NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript and work in a microservices environment alongside legacy architecture.
Troubleshooting production issues is also part of the job.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer.
Strong experience in backend engineering, including building APIs and working with databases, is required.
Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects and work well with stakeholders is necessary.
Experience in building maintainable, well-tested, highly resilient systems and features is essential.
Full-cycle SDLC experience, covering requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, maintenance, and support, is required.
Experience with TEFCA implementation or similar experience working with HINS is preferred.
