Description:
SentiLink is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Backend to be responsible for their applications and platform.
The role involves working with the product and engineering team to build new products and enhance existing ones.
Candidates should possess outstanding programming skills and be proficient in the company's technology stack, with the ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Technologies used include Golang, Python, PostgreSQL (RDS), Docker, and AWS technologies.
This is a remote position available to candidates based in the United States.
Responsibilities include owning a large section of the codebase, leading technical direction, coding, testing, debugging, documenting, and maintaining software applications.
The engineer will design and build API-based decisioning products and partner with product management for agile delivery.
Ensuring software quality through unit and end-to-end automated tests is essential.
The role requires analyzing usage and product metrics with stakeholders to inform strategic decisions and troubleshooting product issues.
The engineer will work cross-functionally to resolve complex customer problems and ensure platform services meet SLA requirements, participating in an on-call rotation for production issues.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of software development experience building enterprise or consumer-facing products.
Experience in building API-based products using Python, Golang, or similar technologies is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, interpersonal skills, and a sense of humor are essential.
Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL) and the ability to write efficient queries with optimal structures is necessary.
Knowledge of Docker and AWS technologies, as well as experience in fintech or financial services, is preferred.
Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must reside in the United States.
