Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer on the Content Lake DX team, you will be responsible for building highly scalable and performant distributed systems that provide core content storage and querying capabilities.
You will serve millions of requests a minute, focusing on intelligent caching, lightning-fast query performance, and enhancing the developer experience through contributions to the open-source query language GROQ.
Your responsibilities will include driving the design and development of complex technical solutions and working on ambiguous problems that require rapid innovation.
You will contribute to a culture of engineering excellence by peer-reviewing others’ work, testing code, and championing coding standards.
You will coach teammates and provide technical mentorship to elevate the entire team.
You will retrospect and influence team operations by recommending product or process improvements.
You will lead critical incident responses and resolve the most complex defects.

Requirements:

You must be based in North America (East Coast/ET) or Europe.
A proven track record of building and running distributed applications at scale, preferably in a product or SaaS company, is required.
You should have a passion for cutting-edge technology and a desire to stay updated on the latest developments to apply them in your work.
Expertise in any backend language is necessary, with a requirement to write in Golang and some Typescript/Node.js.
You must be able to clearly and concisely communicate technical designs and thinking both verbally and in writing.
