Remote Senior Software Engineer - Backend (Data Lineage)

Description:

• Build source-specific packages for crawling, mining, and migrating metadata from various data sources.
• Collaborate with field teams to provide technical expertise and support for customers and partners during onboarding.
• Take ownership of multiple orchestration & connector packages for Atlan.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers working on the packages.
• Deploy and maintain packages on the Atlan Metadata Marketplace.
• Drive innovation and improve developer productivity for Atlan users.

Requirements:

• Minimum 6 years of backend development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience in data orchestration, including building and deploying data pipelines.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools like DBT, Fivetran, Airflow, Kafka, Dagster, etc.
• Ability to lead customer and partner calls as a technical subject matter expert.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
