Description:

Lark is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the App Engineering team to build and scale backend services for its health coaching application.
The role involves developing new backend systems using technologies such as Go, Typescript, Node, DocumentDB, Argo, Kafka, SQL, and Terraform.
Responsibilities include building new features, refactoring, and scaling existing backend systems that process data from mobile devices.
The engineer will help maintain and refactor legacy systems that utilize Java, Kotlin, DynamoDB, and Github Actions.
Collaboration with other engineering teams, DevOps, and the product team is essential for defining and reviewing projects.
The position requires a quality-driven approach, including writing fast automated tests to achieve high code coverage.
Mentoring junior engineers through regular code reviews is a key responsibility.
The engineer will follow and help define coding guidelines to ensure the security and privacy of user data.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience developing well-tested software using Golang and Typescript with Node.
Knowledge of AWS technologies such as DynamoDB, DocumentDB, Lambdas, MSK, EKS, and RDS is required.
Expertise in designing Domain Specific Languages (DSLs) or APIs is necessary.
Previous experience in a senior or lead-level software engineering role is essential.
Experience deploying services with Kubernetes, Docker, and Lambdas is required.
Candidates should have experience with data modeling, performance tuning, and data systems access.
Experience in sprint planning and working with Agile methodologies is also required.
