Remote Senior Software Engineer, Backend - Engagement Team

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will join the Engagement Team at Henry, a company focused on providing specialized compounded formulas for individuals with chronic conditions.
• Responsibilities include crafting and optimizing customer-facing applications for telehealth appointments, account management, and medication management.
• The role involves working on technologies like React, Typescript, JavaScript, analytics tools, A/B testing tools, and software engineering best practices.
• The engineer will collaborate with product, marketing, and customer experience teams to enhance the user experience and improve conversion rates.
• Duties also include mentoring other developers, debugging issues in production, and contributing to full lifecycle software development.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience building production software systems.
• Proficiency in React, Typescript, JavaScript, analytics tools, A/B testing tools, and software engineering best practices.
• Background in performance improvement, customer-first mindset, and creating partnerships between teams.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and full software development lifecycle.
• Passion for problem-solving, creating user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Experience with NodeJS GraphQL APIs, Firebase, Material UI, startups, telehealth, or D2C e-commerce companies.
