The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers, delivering high-value products for customers and infrastructure that enables business scalability.
Vanta’s mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security.
The product integrates with services that present security risks, analyzes data, and surfaces potential threats in real time with remediation guidance.
The role involves setting technical direction to scale product and infrastructure, driving complex projects, and mentoring the engineering team.
The Trust organization owns three AI-powered products to streamline the security review process between software buyers and sellers.
The Trust teams are developing enterprise-grade products with high quality and scalability, focusing on excellent user experiences for a range of customers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of industry experience.
A strong product mindset and previous experience in product engineering or on greenfield projects is required.
Experience in shipping enterprise products is necessary.
Candidates should have played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
Previous startup experience or experience in an action-oriented environment is preferred.
Familiarity with TypeScript is required.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is essential.
Candidates should be able to work with talented engineers to significantly impact the customer base and contribute to building Vanta’s engineering culture.
