Remote Senior Software Engineer, Backend

Description:

• As a Senior Software Engineer at Scout Motors, you will be part of a team revolutionizing the all-electric pick-up truck & rugged SUV marketplace.
• You will lead the architecture, design, and development of complex software systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement solutions for digital products such as mobile and desktop applications, vehicle connectivity solutions, marketing tools, and more.
• Implement single sign-on solutions and identity management systems for secure user authentication across multiple applications.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to help them grow and succeed.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the software development process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, focusing on back-end technologies.
• Proficiency in Go, Node.js, Python, Java, or Ruby.
• Experience with relational and/or non-relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
