Description:

The Senior Software Engineer, Backend will be part of the Hopper Fintech Ancillaries team responsible for integrating proprietary fintech offerings with major travel companies globally.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, deploying, and operating complex backend systems using technologies like Scala, GCP, OpenAPI, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features in an agile manner within a microservices architecture.
Bring leading industry techniques and technologies to the table, focusing on quality, scalability, and performance.
Prior cloud experience, working with Scala, and travel or eCommerce background are preferred.

Requirements:
