The Commit Backend team is responsible for delivering the microservice constellation to support Outreach's forecasting and opportunity management backend.
The role involves building applications primarily using the Go language, with some Ruby on Rails apps, and working with data stores like MySQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases such as AWS DynamoDB.
Daily responsibilities include identifying critical details for incremental delivery, designing scalable solutions, responding to changing requirements, maintaining high-quality code, breaking down existing systems using a SOA approach, and owning features throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of strong backend development experience.
Demonstrated experience in building distributed systems with a cloud service-oriented architecture is required.
Strong communication skills are essential.
Experience in building and consuming web-based APIs is necessary.
Familiarity with continuous deployment environments is expected.
Knowledge of Go is a must, while Ruby experience is a plus.
