The Senior Software Engineer will lead and mentor engineers to deliver high-value products and scalable infrastructure for Vanta.

The Senior Software Engineer will set technical direction to enable product and infrastructure scalability, drive complex projects, and mentor the engineering team.

Successful candidates will have at least 5 years of industry experience, experience with MongoDB scalability challenges, technical leadership experience, startup experience, and an interest in security.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of industry experience.
Experience with complex infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, and performance with MongoDB.
Previous experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
Previous startup experience or experience in an environment prioritizing a bias for action.
Experience working on greenfield projects.
Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the space.
