Description:

Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Personnel Workflows team, focusing on helping customers meet their security and compliance goals.
The role involves setting technical direction to scale product and infrastructure, driving complex projects, and mentoring the engineering team.
Engineers at Vanta design and develop new product functionality using modern frameworks and tools such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS services like Fargate and ECS.
Responsibilities include leading complex projects with multiple stakeholders, supporting design reviews, developing and launching greenfield products, and driving initiatives to enhance operational posture and execution quality.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 8 years of industry experience.
A strong product mindset and previous experience in product engineering are required.
Experience with data models and shipping enterprise products is necessary.
Candidates should have played technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
An interest in learning about security or prior experience in the security space is preferred.
The ability to work collaboratively with talented engineers to impact customer security positively is essential.
