The position is for a Senior Software Engineer specializing in backend development within the platform and infrastructure team.
Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code and design documents, mentoring team members, and leading collaborative projects from design to launch.
The role involves working with a diverse team of software engineers, machine learning researchers, physicians, product managers, and UX researchers.
The engineer will contribute to the medical knowledge base, medical data and FHIR infrastructure, data platform, cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and privacy and security engineering.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of experience in building and scaling software applications and services.
Proficiency in coding with Python, Java, or similar object-oriented languages is required.
Experience in building, maintaining, and working with production-grade systems is essential.
Applicants should have experience leading multi-disciplinary teams on complex problems.
The ability to mentor and grow engineers is necessary.
A computer science or similar technical degree, or equivalent practical experience, is required.
