Description:
Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Backend - Reporting & Issue Management team, focused on enhancing security and consumer data protection.
The role involves leading and mentoring engineers to deliver high-value products and scalable infrastructure.
The engineer will set technical direction, drive complex projects, and mentor the engineering team to support Vanta's rapid growth.
The Reporting & Issue Management team aims to elevate Vanta's product for enterprise customers by creating structured systems for issue management and building powerful data infrastructure using Snowflake.
Responsibilities include owning customer experiences, partnering with product and design teams, and guiding complex projects to successful outcomes.
The engineer will lead projects with multiple stakeholders, design and develop new product functionalities, and contribute to Vanta's engineering culture.
Requirements:
Candidates must have hands-on experience with Snowflake or similar data platforms and understand best practices for managing infrastructure as code using Terraform.
Applicants should be comfortable designing scalable data models, optimizing query performance, and building reliable data pipelines.
Experience in leading complex projects and collaborating with multiple stakeholders is essential.
Proficiency in modern frameworks and tooling such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js is required.
