Remote Senior Software Engineer, Backend (Security Team)

Description:

• Motive is seeking a Senior Security Assurance Engineer to enhance the security posture by developing detection and protection mechanisms.
• The role involves creating technical solutions to address security gaps and advocating for security practices.
• Responsibilities include conducting security audits, identifying attack vectors, and establishing security policies aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.
• The position requires working on cloud-based services on AWS, implementing Identity, Logging, and SIEM automation, and managing disaster recovery programs.
• The candidate will contribute to securing Motive's platform and AI-enabled IoT products, focusing on encryption, key management, and compliance regulations.

Requirements:

• Technical expertise in securing cloud-based services on AWS and utilizing managed services like KMS, GuardDuty, and CloudTrail.
• Proficiency in API development, Data Analysis, SQL, Python, Terraform, and Git with at least 5 years of hands-on experience.
• Deep understanding of information security, risk management, data privacy, cryptography, and security frameworks such as SOC, NIST, and ISO.
• Experience in managing security policies, regulatory compliance regulations like GDPR and HIPAA, and disaster recovery programs.
