Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Software Engineer will design, code, and test post-release configuration, performance measurements, production support, and maintenance in a full software development cycle.
• This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining OSS enterprise applications such as Nokia AAA, MediationZone, and APIs.
• The engineer will map business requirements to functional specifications, perform gap analysis, and provide quality solutions.
• It is essential to diligently adhere to best practices and promote performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• The engineer will identify and monitor inter-dependencies among various application implementation activities.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline is required.
• The candidate must have 5 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, Implementation Architect, or in a related software coding and configuration position.
• Some experience must include working with Nokia AAA or MediationZone.
• Proficiency in Java or the Spring Framework is required.
• The candidate should have experience with object-oriented languages and design techniques.
• Familiarity with UNIX platforms is necessary.
• Knowledge of SQL is required.
• The candidate must understand data structures, algorithm design, concurrency issues, and performance assessment.
• Experience in API/microservice architecture design is essential.
• Familiarity with AWS is required.
• The candidate should have experience with CI/CD (continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment).
