Arcadia has launched Arc, a SaaS platform enabling developers and energy innovators to create custom energy experiences.
They are seeking a Senior Backend or Full Stack Engineer to join the Engineering team and contribute to developing industry-leading data modeling products for energy cost prediction and DER interventions.
The ideal candidate should be a team player with a curiosity for engineering problems, experience in regulated industries, and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
Responsibilities include contributing to energy cost modeling API, designing new products, translating requirements into engineering designs, participating in technical reviews, and writing tests.
The position requires working with remote teams and deploying systems on AWS or similar platforms.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
Minimum of 4 years of software development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
Experience in building REST APIs, enterprise Java (preferably Spring, Spring Boot), and SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
Proficiency in deploying systems on AWS or similar platforms.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and with small teams.
Preferred qualifications include experience in designing, operating, and troubleshooting large web API systems, Python-based data science tools, React for front-end, and Kubernetes/containerized platforms.
