• They are seeking a Senior Backend or Full Stack Engineer to join the Engineering team and contribute to developing industry-leading data modeling products for energy cost prediction and DER interventions.
• The ideal candidate should be a team player with a curiosity for engineering problems, experience in regulated industries, and the ability to collaborate with various departments.
• Responsibilities include contributing to energy cost modeling API, designing new products, translating requirements into engineering designs, participating in technical reviews, and writing tests.
• The position requires working with remote teams and deploying systems on AWS or similar platforms.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is required.
• Minimum of 4 years of software development experience at a SaaS or technology company.
• Experience in building REST APIs, enterprise Java (preferably Spring, Spring Boot), and SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency in deploying systems on AWS or similar platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and with small teams.
• Preferred qualifications include experience in designing, operating, and troubleshooting large web API systems, Python-based data science tools, React for front-end, and Kubernetes/containerized platforms.
