Remote Senior Software Engineer

• Highlight is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team focused on revolutionizing how survey data is presented and understood.
• The software engineering team is developing intuitive visualization tools to help users explore and understand user testing results in a clear and actionable way.
• The role involves working within a team following the Empowered Product Teams model, taking responsibility for features that contribute to overall business impact, and adopting a test-driven development methodology.
• The Senior Software Engineer will influence foundational technical decisions, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and craft scalable solutions for software growth.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Proficiency in back-end systems to handle regular tasks.
• Experience working on product-minded teams with end-to-end ownership of the product.
• Strong bias toward action and delivery, focusing on delivering user value.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment with designers, PMs, engineers, and stakeholders.
• Passion for quality, security, and SRE.
• Proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong analytical capabilities.
• Familiarity with tech stack including React, Typescript, C#, AWS, GraphQL, Postgres DB, and DataDog.
• Prior experience in fast-paced startups is a plus.
