RevolutionParts is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote team in the United States.

The role involves collaborating with Product Management and UX/UI teams to design and build solutions, implement major features, and promote best practices for writing well-tested, organized code.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing secure, scalable, and resilient features, driving positive change in engineering culture, and tackling challenges such as building features, integrations, libraries, externalizable APIs, and high-volume secure services.

Requirements:

Candidates should be open to learning new technologies and tackling unfamiliar problems.
A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in software engineering is required.
A solid understanding of object-oriented design and computer science fundamentals is essential.
Experience in designing APIs and high-availability systems is necessary.
Familiarity with OWASP principles is expected.
Candidates should be proficient in designing data schemas and implementing database solutions (SQL and/or NoSQL).
Strong experience with modern programming languages, particularly Go, PHP, and JavaScript, is required.
Comfort with modern cloud technologies (especially AWS), CI/CD tools (GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes), and observability tools (NewRelic APM, DataDog, Elasticsearch) is beneficial.
An advocate for automated testing, particularly unit and integration tests, is preferred.
