Remote Senior Software Engineer - BitGo Prime

Description:

• BitGo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Prime Engineering team and assist in developing new features and applications for enterprise clients.
• The role involves designing and constructing robust APIs, libraries, and services for financial services like clearing, settlement, digital asset lending, trading, and liquidity.
• Responsibilities include taking ownership of functionality and scalability features from inception to deployment, collaborating with engineering teams, and providing mentorship.
• The position is primarily remote, with an expectation for those near the office to be present on Wednesdays.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of back-end, server-side software development experience.
• Background in Financial Services and/or Financial Technology.
• Proficiency in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.
• Strong skills in TypeScript/Node.JS, SQL databases like Postgres or MySQL, RESTful API design, and unit testing.
• Experience with microservices, Git/GitHub, CI tools, and code review tools.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and participate in on-call rotations.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with asynchronous programming, functional programming, financial accounting systems, digital asset trading, React, large-scale applications, and cryptocurrencies.
