Remote Senior Software Engineer, Business Automation

Description:

• The company Sauce is a restaurant technology platform that offers Commission-Free Delivery & Pickup services and proprietary delivery optimization technology.
• They are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their remote R&D team to develop cutting-edge applications aimed at improving business metrics with a fast time to market.
• The role involves learning and understanding business requirements and processes, selecting appropriate tools and platforms, automating manual workflows, integrating new automation solutions, and leading the development of new processes and applications.
• The Senior Software Engineer will report to the R&D Team Lead of the Platform Team.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CTO or similar position in a tech startup.
• 5+ years of software development experience in business process automation.
• Proficiency in web scraping tools, frameworks, and techniques.
• Experience in automating business processes and integrating with different systems.
• Proficiency in utilizing various tools, programming languages, and SaaS platforms.
• Experience with Low Code/No-Code tools like Zapier, Integromat, and Retool.
• Ability to design, develop, and deliver POC/MVP products/tools independently and rapidly.
• Soft skills including a startup mindset, problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working directly with C-level executives.
• Additional expertise in developing Chrome extensions, familiarity with AI tools and platforms, and knowledge of the company's stack and tools (C#/.NET, Typescript, MongoDB, Azure) would be a plus.
