Remote Senior Software Engineer (C++) (Remote)

Description:

• Symmetrio is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to work remotely for a startup dedicated to developing an innovative robotic system for radiotherapy.
• The role involves designing and developing software for a robotic therapy system, including treatment planning software, to enhance dose distribution in radiation therapy treatments.
• Responsibilities include developing graphical user interfaces, collaborating with the development team, contributing to database projects, implementing unit tests, and ensuring software quality assurance processes are followed.
• The Senior Software Engineer will participate in requirement analysis, contribute to decision-making on computing hardware and software libraries, and create comprehensive documentation for radiation oncology system software components.
• Support FDA 510(k) and CE mark submission processes with thorough documentation and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics (Master's degree preferred).
• Minimum 2-3 years of medical device software development experience.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, with a strong focus on C++.
• Experience in writing and implementing unit tests and functional tests.
• Familiarity with Git, MySQL, and database management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
