Description:
- Beam Benefits is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work on user-focused projects in an agile environment.
- The role involves working across various products, collaborating with Product and Design teams, and mentoring fellow engineers.
- Responsibilities include shipping high-quality code, providing technical guidance, mentoring team members, proposing architectural solutions, and owning parts of the agile processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in building scalable Ruby on Rails and/or React applications.
- Proficiency in deployment platforms like AWS and Heroku is necessary.
- Expertise in developing secure and tested REST APIs is essential.
- Experience in relational database schema design and a strong understanding of CS fundamentals are required.
