Description:
- Design, build, and implement core software systems to enhance the ngrok platform
- Improve Cloud Edge functionality and the supporting platform
- Use data to make decisions that enhance customer satisfaction
- Lead technical decisions and gain organizational buy-in
- Develop scalable software for large user bases and high throughput
- Mentor other engineers within the organization
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in writing quality, production software
- Proficiency in Go, Rust, C, Java, or C++
- Experience in mentoring and up-leveling peers
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Track record of deploying high-value software for large distributed systems
- Prior experience in startups is a plus
- Knowledge of Kubernetes and depth in computer networking
