Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Heard is seeking a dynamic Senior Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience to lead the development of the financial back-office for therapists.
• This role will focus on crafting and enhancing the Heard API and strengthening the backend infrastructure of the Heard platform.

Requirements:

• The candidate must have 4+ years of experience as a software engineer or experience with languages such as TypeScript.
• Proven experience in building complex systems and making decisions on scope, architecture, feasibility, and tradeoffs is required.
• The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity and capable of taking a feature from idea to production.
• Observant and detail-oriented skills are essential.
• The ability to write maintainable, well-structured code and discuss various architectural implementations is necessary.
• A business-minded approach is important, considering the business impact when solving technical problems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required, along with a knack for teaching and sharing knowledge.
• The candidate should be comfortable providing and receiving feedback regularly.
• Experience in FinTech or with products that handle financial information is preferred.
