Description:

FarmRaise is hiring a Senior Software Engineer who will report to Rachel Boy, Staff Software Engineer.
In this role, you will collaborate with a small team of engineers, working closely to build high-quality, impactful features.
You will take ownership of features and contribute across the stack, from frontend to backend and deployment.
You will participate in technical discussions and code reviews to help maintain quality and alignment across the team.
You will engage with product and design teams to clarify business goals and ensure smooth execution of features.
The compensation for this position ranges from $126,000 to $165,000 per year, with equity granted via the company’s employee stock option pool.
The position is fully remote with regular all-team retreats.

Requirements:

You should have significant experience building and shipping features in a fast-paced, early startup environment.
You should have hands-on experience or familiarity with some of the following technologies:
- Frontend: React, Typescript, Next.js, Dart, Flutter.
- Backend: Node.js, Kotlin, Spring Boot.
- Cloud: AWS, GCP (Firestore, Cloud Functions).
- DevOps: Service configuration, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and deployment automation.
Bonus points for strong expertise in backend systems and DevOps, especially if you can teach the team.
Experience working cross-functionally on small, focused teams is also a plus.
You should be technically proficient, a problem solver, collaborative, independent, and accountable.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $126,000 to $165,000 per year.
