Remote Senior Software Engineer

• The role involves working closely with front end engineers and the product team, contributing to the software process, and having a direct impact on product development.
• Responsibilities include contributing to architecture, specification reviews, automated testing, implementation, code reviews, debugging, and documentation.
• The engineer will design, build, test, and maintain scalable APIs, services, and systems within the platform.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 4+ years of experience with OOP languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, or Node.
• A minimum of 2+ years of experience with Python is required.
• Experience with frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI is a plus.
• Candidates should have experience building and maintaining public-facing RESTful APIs designed for scalability.
• Experience in making architecture decisions and participating in project design and architecture is necessary.
• Applicants must be able to write maintainable and well-tested server-side applications.
• Self-directed and self-motivated individuals who are comfortable working with diverse teams are preferred.
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
• Experience with AWS or other cloud services is a plus.
