A preferred Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
Candidates should have 5-7+ years of total engineering experience, with 3-5+ years in commercial Software Engineering, including 1-2 years in a tech stack similar to RoR, Kotlin, Spring, Kafka, or React.
Experience as a software engineering contributor with expertise in relevant fields or technology stacks is necessary.
A focus on software development in Kotlin and Spring, or Java and Spring is required.
Candidates should have experience with event-driven software design at scale, particularly using a message bus architecture like Kafka or RabbitMQ, and understand the trade-offs of Service-oriented Architecture versus traditional MVC monoliths.
An understanding of the security industry, particularly in the Bug Bounty or Penetration Testing space, is essential.
