Beam is looking for a Senior Software Engineer with a passion for building user-focused projects in an agile environment.
The role involves regularly shipping high-quality code and acting as a technical advisor for the team to improve code and product quality.
The engineer will mentor fellow engineers to enhance the overall knowledge of the team and propose and implement architectural solutions for tech stack improvement.
The position requires ownership of portions of the agile processes.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building scalable Ruby on Rails and/or React applications.
Experience with deployment platforms such as AWS or Heroku is necessary.
Expertise in building secure, tested REST APIs is required.
Relational database schema design experience is essential.
An excellent understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures and design patterns, is expected.

Beam offers a competitive base salary ranging from $115,200 to $184,200, with the actual pay depending on internal equity and the candidate's experience.
