Description:

Atropos Health is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the team building ChatRWD, a product that empowers clinicians and researchers to generate high-quality Real World Evidence quickly.
The role involves contributing to the development of robust backend systems for complex products, with a focus on improving the technical underpinnings of ChatRWD.
Responsibilities include implementing robust Python systems, contributing to data models, application architecture, and API structures, and debugging complex clinical-data issues.
The engineer will also participate in code reviews, product demos, and ideation sessions to enhance the company’s engineering culture.
Collaboration with Product, Data Science, and Clinical teams is essential to deliver a reliable and enjoyable experience for end users.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience as a software engineer, specifically focusing on backend systems.
Expertise in Python is required.
Experience with databases and cloud tooling, such as Postgres, AWS, and Terraform, is necessary.
Applicants should have a proven track record of delivering complex technical projects that involve cross-functional collaboration.
Familiarity with healthcare is beneficial, but experience in any complex data system is acceptable.
Bonus points will be awarded for experience with domain-specific query languages, NLP, or mapping from unstructured to structured data.
Additional bonus points for experience with LLMs, ML models, OpenSearch, or AI pipelines.
