Snapsheet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Claims Management team, focusing on technology and impactful solutions.
The role involves developing cutting-edge solutions for Snapsheet Cloud, enhancing the claims process for organizations.
Responsibilities include expanding platform offerings, improving API performance and scalability, and collaborating with engineering teams.
The engineer will contribute to technical design processes, mentor junior developers, and work in an agile environment with regular stand-ups and retrospectives.
The position emphasizes continuous improvement of the platform and solving complex problems in partnership with product management and design.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field is required.
Candidates must have 5+ years of full-stack web development experience.
Experience in designing and building APIs, creating schemas and performant queries for relational databases, and understanding scalability challenges is essential.
Proficiency in building applications using React and Redux or a similar frontend framework, as well as Ruby on Rails or a similar backend framework, is required.
A deep understanding of web technology stacks and modern web technologies is necessary, including HTTP, cookies, asset loading/caching, ES6, HTML5, and Progressive Web Apps.
