Description:

Protegrity is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their R&D organization and engineer a new product line.
The role involves collaborating with technical experts across the company and shaping the team and technology used.
Responsibilities include building front-end utilities using JavaScript and/or TypeScript, creating Jenkins build pipelines, and securely integrating client-side utilities with REST APIs.
The engineer will work with Product Owners and Managers to understand customer problems and develop solutions.
Additional tasks include automating test cases, writing user-friendly documentation, participating in scrum ceremonies, conducting code reviews, and identifying areas for improvement.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-7 years of post-bachelor’s degree experience as a software engineer.
High competence in verbal and written communication is required.
Expertise in computer science fundamentals, including security best practices, is essential.
Experience in building and maintaining software products in JavaScript or TypeScript is necessary.
Knowledge and experience integrating with REST APIs are required.
A willingness to continue learning new technologies and methods is expected.
Comfort with critical thinking and creative problem-solving is important.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of client-side security best practices, data security, and experience with Java, Python, C++, or similar languages, as well as experience with structured database systems (SQL).
