The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop and maintain Windows-based projects.
Responsibilities include building, modifying, and maintaining .NET (C#/.NET) applications on Windows, ensuring stability and performance.
The role also involves supporting various open-source C/C++ projects, adapting them for the Windows environment.
Key responsibilities include building and maintaining .NET on Windows, modifying codebases, and setting up build automation for various Windows environments.
The engineer will also maintain and adapt open-source C/C++ projects for Windows, handle project builds, and work with version control systems.
Requirements:
Candidates must have solid knowledge of C# and the .NET infrastructure, particularly on Windows.
Good C/C++ skills with experience building under Windows using Visual Studio, MinGW, or Cygwin are required.
A strong understanding of the Windows environment, including system libraries and compatibility nuances, is essential.
Experience with version control systems, specifically Git, is necessary.
Candidates should be able to handle dependencies, adjust build scripts, and resolve compatibility issues.
Skills in reading and analyzing open-source code are required.
Familiarity with PowerShell and automation of build/deployment processes is expected.
It is preferred to have experience in setting up and running CI/CD for Windows projects and understanding cross-platform builds.
Experience with package managers and interacting with open-source communities is a plus.
