Description:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Sezzle, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a growing FinTech company by working on challenging problems across various areas of the organization.
You will collaborate with stakeholders from Product, Support, and the business to design, develop, and deliver new features in Golang and React.
Responsibilities include building a distributed architecture, designing market-winning products, collecting metrics for continuous improvement, and mentoring teammates.
You will work on REST APIs using Go and Java Python, in a cloud-based architecture with tools like RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka.
The role involves leading small development teams, using observability platforms for monitoring, and deploying micro-services with Kubernetes on AWS.
Ideal candidates will have experience with SQL-based RDMS, CI/CD pipelines, commercial APIs, and web applications.

Requirements:

Minimum 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
Ability to bring new ideas, build consensus, and work with REST APIs using Go and Java Python.
Experience in a distributed, cloud-based architecture with tools like RabbitMQ, SQS, Kafka.
BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
Familiarity with SQL-based RDMS, observability platforms, CI/CD pipelines, containerized micro-service architecture, and delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
