Description:

LILT is seeking a part-time Senior Software Engineer specializing in Connectors, working remotely from Argentina or Taiwan.
The role involves post-sales engineering for enterprise and mid-market customers utilizing LILT's AI technology for multilingual content.
The engineer will collaborate with various teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, Services, and Marketing to ensure customer success.
Key responsibilities include debugging issues related to LILT’s Connector stack, assisting with localization file preparation, and implementing technology-enabled workflows.
The engineer will document customer configurations, facilitate feedback between customers and the engineering team, and meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 3+ years of experience in a localization-engineering role.
A strong understanding of XLIFF, TMX, TBX, and SRX formats is required.
Familiarity with key localization terms and best practices in localization (l10n) and internationalization (i18n) is essential.
Knowledge of common file formats such as JSON, XML, HTML, CSV, PO, YAML, STRINGS, RESX, and PROPERTIES is necessary.
Proficiency in RegEx for text processing tasks and understanding of encoding standards and character sets is required.
Familiarity with the Okapi Framework and localization platforms/technologies is important.
Coding skills in Python and Java, as well as understanding software development principles and APIs, are needed.
Candidates should be familiar with version control systems like Git and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze issues are essential.
