Vanta is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for their Core Platform team based in Ontario or British Columbia, Canada.
The company's mission is to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security.
The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for setting technical direction to scale the infrastructure with the business growth.
The role involves driving complex projects, mentoring the engineering team, and leveraging past experience to accelerate Vanta's growth.
Engineers at Vanta work with modern frameworks and tooling like TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS services.
The Core Platform team focuses on improving infrastructure, developer productivity, automated testing, scalability, and breaking up monolithic deployments.

Requirements:

Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the field.
Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
Familiarity with complex infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, and performance.
