Remote Senior Software Engineer, Core Platform

Description:

• Vanta is on a mission to secure the internet and protect consumer data by continuously monitoring and verifying security.
• The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for setting technical direction to ensure infrastructure scales with the business, driving complex projects, and mentoring the engineering team.
• The role involves designing and developing new product functionality and infrastructure using modern frameworks and tools like TypeScript, React, Node.js, MongoDB, and AWS services.
• The Core Platform team focuses on enabling efficient product development by improving infrastructure and developer productivity.
• Responsibilities include building CI and build systems, modernizing testing tooling, solving scalability problems, leading complex projects, and contributing to the engineering culture.
• Successful candidates should have an interest in security, experience in technical leadership roles, and familiarity with complex infrastructure challenges.

Requirements:

• Interest in learning about security or prior experience in the field.
• Experience in technical leadership roles for teams or complex projects.
• Familiarity with complex infrastructure challenges related to scale, reliability, and performance.
