Description:

Snapsheet is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Customer Vendor Management team, focusing on technology and impactful solutions.
The role involves developing enhancements to Vendor Integration functionality in Snapsheet Cloud, including building backend data models, APIs, and a new frontend.
Responsibilities include expanding platform offerings for providers, breaking down APIs for performance and scalability, and continuously improving the tech stack and infrastructure.
The engineer will collaborate with other teams to enhance configurability, contribute to technical design processes, and mentor junior developers.
The position requires participation in an agile environment, including weekly stand-ups and retrospectives, while proactively managing tasks and suggesting alternatives.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of full-stack web development experience, including designing and building APIs and schemas for relational databases.
Understanding scalability challenges and performance of server-side code is essential.
Prior professional experience using React is required, and experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus.
A commitment to quality, eagerness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple initiatives during a sprint are necessary.
