Description:

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for developing property tax data and payment products that simplify these systems for customers.
The role involves architecting and building scalable systems, designing robust data pipelines, developing microservices, and integrating with local government systems.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent training, fellowship, or work experience is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and delivering production-quality software systems is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with API/data and B2B SaaS products.
Excellent coding and debugging skills are essential.
A strong understanding of multiple technologies, including frontend user interfaces, backend services, and databases, is required.
Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, high attention to detail, and a proven track record of using metrics to drive decisions.
A sense of ownership and a passion for customer satisfaction through innovative solutions to complex problems is expected.
Experience in data engineering and ETL pipelines is required.

Mainstay offers a competitive compensation package that varies by U.S. geographic market, with an annual pay range of $152,960β$215,100 for most locations.
For roles based in the SF Bay Area, Seattle, and New York City Metro area, the base salary range is $191,000β$239,000.
Pay is determined based on location, skills, and experience, with specific ranges confirmed by recruiters.
Remote roles are available in all U.S. states except Hawaii, Alaska, Montana, and U.S. Territories.
