Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• Nielsen is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their Marketing Cloud business unit, which focuses on providing targetable audience data for programmatic advertising.
• The role involves designing, building, and managing the application server to achieve highly distributed, scalable, high-performing, and cost-effective systems.
• The team processes 25TB of data daily in a highly distributed system, utilizing modern NoSQL databases like Aerospike.

Requirements:

• A degree in computer science or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have at least 6+ years of hands-on experience in server-side development, working on several complex projects.
• Proficiency in Java and Java frameworks is essential.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills are necessary.
• Good English communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
